    Each state’s laws are different regarding expungement. I practice in Texas, and the law here is that it can be if a few conditions are met. For example, the statute of limitations for the offense woudl have to have passed because, if not, there is always the chance you could be charged again.

    Arrests are never, ever removed from your police record or your permanent FBI / NCIC Criminal History Report…. Only convictions can be expunged, not the arrest.
