can i access my court document/records?

it was in 1985. i was involved in abuse. my dad went to jail ect. i want to know if i can see or get the court reports or get any info. or has the stats of limitations run out? i live in indiana

    believe it or not, anyone is entitled to get a copy of the court report.
    simply ask for one or check online.

    Actually, the statute of limitations has nothing to do with this issue. What DOES have something to do with it is how old you were at the time of the case and if the records have been sealed.

    Most states seal the records of child abuse and it will take an order of the court to have them unsealed. I would discuss this with a local attorney if you feel uncomfortable speaking about it here.
