I looked into her public crime record and saw previous false alarm and assault and batter charges. the assault and battery had Noelle prosequi and the false alarm was reduced to a lower felony. I wanted to know if I can still use these arrest/charges in court against her though she wast convicted of the false alarm. also, the complaints she filed against me and the 911 transcripts don’t match at all. She’s saying 2 or 3 completely different things.

so, we are moving to taiwan and i am curious is this going to prevent me from living with her, working, getting the ARC or anything? i checked and officially, they want criminal report from the past 5 years, but i am guessing this will show up and the the date may be overlooked.
any suggestions?

I was convicted of a misdemeanor but was arrested and charged with a felony. The military can still see that. Since I was going to court, because my charges are wrong, but was wondering if anybody knew if I could do anything for the judge to get them completely removed, so the military couldn’t even see them. I graduated high school and now in college with nearly a 4.0 GPA. I was convicted when I was 14 now I’m 18. My dream is to be in the Navy SEALs or Delta Force.I haven’t lost hope yet. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a judge doing something like that.
I don’t mean expunged, sealed or dismissed, because the military can still see it. I mean completely removed not to where even the judge can see it.

He works for a bank, and he was searching through other people’s accounts to find contact information so that he can get in touch with a friend.

He found out that his childhood bestfriend that he hadn’t seen in 10 year was in jail or had died in jail. He searched people’s name that knew his friend on the computer at work and called the numbers to try to find his parents or whomever could give him information. He eventually found his ex-stepmother who told him that his friend was indeed in jail, and had been stabbed but still alive.

In the process of coming across his stepmom’s number he called his friend’s exgirlfriend and she was apparently upset about the call. When she found out how he got her number she went to her branch and reported it. My husband was fired, and apparently that offense could be a felony if prosecuted. And if he is prosecuted he could lose his professional licenses and have to find another career.

I was just offered a job at a large consulting firm: the background check asked if "you have ever been arrested for any criminal offenses" – I answered no because I thought the record was sealed but it turns out it’s very much accessible.

1) I haven’t heard anything from the company, but I’m thinking about contacting the background investigation entity and letting them know that I made an honest mistake on the application. Do you think this will hurt more than it will help? Would this induce a "deeper" investigation?

when I was 17 I was arrested for 2 felonies and 3 misdemeanors

the charges were: 1. Terroristic threats (F) 2.possession of a firearm while in commission of a crime(F)
3. possession of a firearm by a minor(M) 4 possession of alcohol by a minor(M) and there was one more charge that I cannot recall

I was arrested but all charges were dropped, and I was never even indicted.
the case was filed under a legal term called do not prosecute.(do not recall the exact legal definition)

I was never convicted or formally charged, but a criminal background check will show an arrest record and that it was not prosecuted.

I would like to become a Fireman, however this may ruin my chances. I would love if the case was expunged.
I have made many accomplishments since the incident and it seems like such a long time ago. All charges were dropped and was never honestly guilty of 3 of the 5 charges. I just got lucky that the district attorney did not prosecute for the charges I was truly guilty on. Basically the victim finally admitted on record that I never made any threats or threated to cause harm in anyway.
I know your criminal records erase after age 18, but I was arrested as an adult
since the incident I have:
1. been employed with same company for 5 years (promoted 2 times)
2. served as a positive mentor to middle school Kids (once a week) a couple of years ago
3. Completely stayed out of trouble including traffic Violations

over the next couple of months if this is possible im going to research and find a way to get an expugement without a lawyer. I know its recommended, but this will probably cost me $2000-$2500 if I get a lawyer. It will probably cost $200-$300 in fees to do this alone.
i have nearly no doubt that a Fire dept where I apply will find these records unless I have them expunged. Most depts in my area a VERY selective on who they hire, and it so competitve that I am going to apply at a tech school nearby and become EMT certified and get a degree in Paramedic Technology, Just to apply as a firefighter. last time I applied there were 500 applicants for 22-26 positions.
