go to the court house….you wont find anything free online.
Court records are available at the courthouse. Go to the clerk. Give the clerk a case number or other identifying information and you can review the court file and copy whatever you want. If you are asking if someone has an obligation to make it easier, the answer is no.
County court records are (with a few exceptions) a matter of public record. If you know what county a case was tried in, and the case went to trial, you can go to the court house.
However, arrest records are NOT as matter of public record, there are laws limiting who can have access to those. Also, the state compiles lists of all convictions in any county against a certain person, those are not a matter of public record in most states.
Stuff on the internet you have to pay for, because someone had to do the legwork to gather it and post it, and they don’t do that for free.
There are many ways,but it depends on what type of legal issues you are talking about that the certain person has. Try to be more in what your actually trying to find and you will get an answer better then this in helping you find what you need. All things are not always in public records.
I’m not sure how that thought came to you, but in the UK at least it’s not entirely accurate
Criminal court hearings are held in open court and are sometimes reported in the press. But there is no central register of court appearances acessible by the public.
Equally, if you do a CRB check on someone you can acess their criminal record (if they have one) – but you can’t get it on Google, for example.
The High Court and to a lesser extent the County Court’s publish daily trial lists on-line. There is no central register of the outcome.
Various subscription legal websites have a complete record of all High Court cases in the last five years or so.
Not everything is a public record. Try calling the clerk of the court and talking to them about what you are looking for.
