I have a ticket to take care of and I don’t know if the city is a court of record or court of no record. I know most municipal courts are no Record, but I know for a fact that fort worth is a court of record. I need to know if Northlake in Denton county is a court of no record so I will know if appealing the ticket will have any effect or if I would be waisting my time.

All courts have records. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be able to function under the law. All county courts are municipal courts. If you are cited in a city for a traffic violation or parking ticket then you would have your case heard at your county courthouse.

It should say on your ticket how to contest it. You can also check the link above.
