if you go to court and no conviction is recorded ,does it still enter the statistics?

there is a tendancy to convict and fine people but more and more no conviction is recorded.
no conviction ,no crime statistic?
thus crime is cut ,yet crime goes on but not by official record?
is it also not then statisticlly a lie?
