I believe there’s only 12 states that require you to have consent from both parties on recording phone conversations. You can never record a conversation without at least one parties consent. There are websites that list the states that require a two party consent. You’d have to type it into a search engine, usually "Telephone Recording Policies" something like that.
I hope I steered you in the right direction.
no but what u can do is let the message recrder go on before answering the phone and then pick it up..u can get most of conversation and that legal
oh and by the way many times when they say its not legal it only means they cant use it in court unless they lie about it..they cant proove u didnt know it wast legal
Here’s a little more…the 12 states that require all parties consent to recording are California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
Often you hear it called ’2 party consent’, though if there are 3 parties involved, you must have the consent of all 3 parties.
The more accurate term is "all-party consent."
