when you go to court for something you done at 12 years old does it linger in your permenant records?

im 27 now and want to apply for another job , i wanted to know if in my permenant records will this small incident be included ?

i was 12 years old at the time and i stole chocolates or something and i even went to court for it even though it was dismissed , would this still be included as criminal history check?

Once you turn 18. Your record is sealed unless it is a major crime you have committed, or will commit after 18.

No. As a juvenile, it may have been. But, that record was supposed to be erased when you became an adult. If it still exists, check with the court where you were charged and have it "stricken" from your record.

No, your record is sealed when you become 18 yrs old…. however, if it does appear, go to the courthouse where you had trial, and ask to get it exponged. This can take a few weeks!
